1972· Carmen Lizarriturri and Jose Antonio Moreno, founders of L U X E N T E R start their corporate activity in thejewellery and decoration sector.

1973· After their marriage, they travel to Africa from where theyexport ivory, malaquite, ebony and other African products. Theprincipal activity of José Antonio was as a professional hunter.

1974· Their experience in Africa and the impact of African cul-ture inspire Jose Antonio Moreno and Carmen Lizarriturri in thecreation of luxury decoration articles: ostrich egg lamps, ivorytables…

1975· Their first gold jewellery collection is launched with elephant hair.

1976· Jose Antonio Moreno dies in Africa. After the loss of herhusband, Carmen Lizarriturri opens the first Luxenter store onClaudio Coello Street in Madrid.

1978· Association with Mr. Struck, a French Cartiermanufacturer. With this association the jewellery manu-facturing process further improves.

1980· The jewellery collection in gold with precious stones,emeralds, rubies and sapphires was launched.

1981· Participation in the first edition of Iberjoya, MadridJewellery Trade Fair.

1983. First participation in Baselworld, The Watchand Jewellery Show.

1990. Strategic alliance with Spanish jewellersLumbreras.

1999. Carmen´s life long dream comes true as her two chil-dren, Ivan and Mencia, join her in her project and together cre-ate their first Silver Jewellery Collection.

2000· Collaboration agreement with El Corte Inglés. Opening instores across Germany, Austria and Andorra.

2001· Luxenter opens in stores in France, Greece and Malta.Participation in the Munich (Inhorgenta) and Paris (Bijorhca)jewellery trade fairs. The company expands into the Germanmarket.

2002· United States and Japan were the following marketsin which the group began to expand internationally.Participation in the Lyon and Munich jewellery tradefairs.

2003· A new logistics centre in Madrid. Commercialrelations are established in Belgium and Holland.

2005· Expansion to Russia as well as Baltic, Eastern Europeanand Scandinavian countries. Participation in the Copenhagenjewellery trade fair. · Aldeasa: Duty Free Terminal 4 of Barajas Airport, Madrid· Expansion to 47 El Corte Inglés centres. ·
